This should be a major story on Bluesky. Palatir is building a surveillance state using AI to compile a database of everyone in the country.
Palantir sells AI tools that help law enforcement agencies like ICE analyze massive amounts of personal data.

The most important environmental documentary I've seen. Congratulations to @abbymartin.bsky.social, who lays out with absolute clarity that the US military is destroying the planetary ecosystem. This is a must see film.

We can do away with it without a new Supreme Court. Nor do we need a constitutional amendment. There’s a far simpler way to get rid of Citizens United. Let me explain. https://robertreich.substack.com/p/how-to-get-rid-of-citizens-united

Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

I remember when Durbin asked Chief Justice Roberts to testify before the Judiciary Comm. about the breathtaking corruption of Thomas and Alito. Roberts refused to testify and Durbin did nothing. Nothing has happened to Virginia Thomas' effort to overthrow democracy.
I know some folks like to show respect for veteran politicians, but I’m done with that.
Dick Durbin has been useless in a job that could’ve been held by someone who actually understood the fascist threat.
