The community band played a patriotic concert at Walnut Grove colonial plantation Saturday and I kept wondering why this horse wasn't moving. Then I saw the dog on his back. Then I went in for a closer look after we warmed up.

A little while ago, my parents' cat Bridget went missing. As the weeks dragged on, they became extremely worried. My dad devised a way to distract himself: he began to paint Bridget's adventures, imagining her travelling through time and popping up in some of art and music's most iconic scenes.

Last week in a WHO-led process, a group of experts selected target flu strains for production for the 2025-26 season. All three strains selected were previously used in the global 2024-25 season, which should make work easier for manufacturers since they have experience with these strains.

In 1979, Jimmy Carter had solar panels installed at the White House.
Ronald Reagan had them removed.
We may be able to trace back the current "Do Harmful Things if it Trolls the Libs" Republicanism to Reagan removing those panels the far more forward thinking Carter had installed.
