There’s a lot going on in this one, multiple genres at play. I got really angry at this game a few times, and there’s some jank to it, but overall a good game with some excellent presentation

The Jungle Book cleared! (NES No. 202)
At long last, a new clear! A 1994 NES platformer that was more annoying than fun. You have to find all gems in each large stage to clear them, and there are a lot of stages with no passwords or saving.

Checked on a lark and saw that Zelda Ancient Dungeon just crossed 15K downloads on RHDN! I’m very grateful.

Yesterday, I finally finished all cherries in UFO 50. It took me 260 hours and I loved every minute of it. This is a really special game, now one of my all time favorites.

Yesterday, I finally finished all cherries in UFO 50. It took me 260 hours and I loved every minute of it. This is a really special game, now one of my all time favorites.

Last night I finally reached 100% in Balatro. What a journey! The game never stopped being fun so I just kept going and going!

Rad Racer cleared! (#NES No. 201)
I’ll be honest, I have not had the motivation to try and play through this, despite knowing about the continue code for a couple of months now. This is a hard game, I needed to be aggressive, careful, and reckless all at once to beat it.

Ninja Gaiden II cleared! (#NES No. 197)
Finally sat down to make a clear video! Not my best effort but good enough I guess. This game is excellent, probably the best of the NES trilogy. The ninja clones and tripling up on your special attack breaks the game a bit in a good way.

Bo Jackson Baseball cleared! (#NES No. 195)
I was worried about making the time for this one, but under the default settings you only have to win 4 games to win the playoffs. I won by a combined score of something like 30-1. Pretty good baseball game, wasn’t too tough.

Last night I finished Celeste! Started up a new file a few months back and just kept chipping away. Didn’t complete it before but did this time. Farewell in particular took a quite a bit of time and a LOT of deaths but I made it!

I’m back to my NES clearing ways! And there’s nothing better than to do it with Battletoads. I really enjoy this game and I can beat it without any trouble these days.
