I don’t usually announce when I don’t like something anymore but pertinent to entertainment news I’ve never been a fan of Tarantino and always considered his movies to mostly edgy trash. Inglorious Basterds gets a pass because it’s about killing Nazis but that’s about it imo

On one hand, I’d like to not have to talk about gender stuff all the time.
On the other hand, the US, the UK, many other governments, and even more private organizations are taking it upon themselves to make life hell for us with the eventual goal of eliminating us.
So I don’t get that luxury.

Just went out under the full moon (though I can’t see it cause it’s winter in Seattle, lol) and burned incense and did rites to Hekate, Selene, and Artemis, all three associated with the moon (and sometimes syncretized).

This is something I really wish people would bring back, but so many local places die because of the way the economy is shaped. Fun story: my mom warned me gay people went to coffee shops so as soon as I got a car I found and visited all of the local ones.
I really miss coffee house culture from the late 1990s and early 00s.

Frustrating that I escaped the confines of my old gender to discover that we’re rapidly creating a bunch of new rules about how to properly perform trans femininity. We are just reproducing the same gendered bullshit by doing this.

When I refer to the planets astrologically I use “it” because we traditionally use that pronoun for inanimate things. I don’t consider the planets to be the same as the gods the planets are named for (because there are a great many spirits and gods assigned to the planets) but more like a subset.
