for sure! i love romance but i do find it a bit disheartening how quickly people are willing to dismiss platonic bonds and story so quickly for these kinds of pointless fights. all these things can co-exist! we shouldn’t dismiss a whole story/arc because it lacked obvious ship-worthy content 😭

you can really like ships but i don’t think it should blind you from the overall themes of a story that focuses on how having connection and a strong support Group is so important. even knmf/mzen needed the others’ help for their bonds to grow.

i don’t even know if this makes sense but seeing people act like knmf/mzen get too much content, like the story is intentionally doing it for just ship content, or that the other ships are less valid because of knmf/mzen is just depressing… it just feels like a bit of a shallow way to enjoy niigo?

for the love of goodness, niigo’s bond shouldn’t be taken as ship war content and nothing else. every little moment with them and every scene has a purpose. there’s no ‘pandering’ to specific duos, their bonds with each other are so woven into the story and are so tied to who they are as characters.

oh yeah for sure! honestly i do think kanade’s hair is mostly 90% straight. i just think her having little waves at the end is cute LOL (and the bob is my fav lim hairstyle of hers)
