I don't really have a slur for this but really slurs in themselves aren't going to change their mind. They just need to start reading Marxist literature and start being more critical about what political positions they adopt.

That is actually incorrect. Authority does not usually win if there is a sufficient guerrilla force against it. And you saying chicken against the goad never works is also untrue. There been many times that powers have been overthrown by their own people.
