Since its first sighting in 1956, the Saint Anne’s Lake Fishman has been linked to strange murders or disappearances. In the late 1960s and early 1980s a secretive religious cult had sprung up worshipping the creature claiming it was the messenger of a god that lived in the bottom of the Lake. While the Fishman Cult completely disappeared in 1985, the Fishman has still been active. In August 2023, the Fishman was blamed for the murder of 18 people including 7 children.

October 6, 2022. Wharfal, Quebec: At around 4:45 am a meteor landed right in the middle of the small of Wharfal, Que. Around three hours later, after the various fire were either extinguished or under control, residents claim that something had climbed out of the impact crater.

November 22, 1966. Melbourne Hills, Yukon: The population of the small town of Melbourne Hills claim that their home grown cryptid, ‘The Melbourne Hills Frogman’, first appeared when a sink hole opened up and swallowed the newly opened town hall.
Drawing of the Melbourne Hills Frogman. The creature supposedly crawled out of the hole, looked around then ran up the street disappearing around a corner. Surprisingly there is a lot of photographic evidence of the collapse of the city hall and the opening of the sink hole but not one can be found showing creature. Over the years the Melbourne Hills Frogman festival has become a popular tourist event.
