it gets excessive and borderline insane to hate on anybody who has a different opinion than you, and while i do believe people reserve the right to share an opinion, i prefer to follow the ‘if you have nothing nice to say…’ approach to things, but that’s just me!

not gonna lie! appreciate the discourse! just don’t appreciate being put under the umbrella of ‘y’all’ when i’m agreeing with you 😂 but valid criticism. it just doesn’t apply to ONLY swifties, it applies to any fan of anything that doesn’t allow for anything but praise of their fave’s art or works.

that’s all i’m saying! but fair enough, i completely see where you’re coming from and i apologise if my statement seemed like i was trying to police anybody on how they shared their opinions. not my intention.

but i’m not trying to police anybody, but why can’t somebody enjoy something without somebody HAVING to ruin it? imagine you talked about enjoying mgk’s new album and i just went, ‘lol, well, i think it sucks’ - which yes, i’d be valid in saying because it’s my opinion but it doesn’t mean i had to?

appreciate the discussion though! sorry that my delivery kinda sucked; i wasn’t trying to be hateful or rude! i actually had a similar conversation with somebody at work yesterday, and truly said, ‘there’s a lot of mixed reviews and that’s okay, i like it but someone else might not! that’s normal!’

so yeah! i do want people to shut up and keep their opinions to themselves if they’re gonna be assholes about it
