That's exactly what we were hoping to produce, accessible with practical recommendations. I think our combined backgrounds in teaching and research along with it being an autistic/non-autistic collaboration assisted us in achieving our aims.

Just in time for the new academic year, we believe this paper will be of particular interest and use to teacher educators and teachers at primary and post-primary level. We hope that the paper and its associated supplementary materials will support the enactment of Inclusive Education.

We applied the original Autistic SPACE framework (Doherty et al., 2023) to the education landscape, broadening its application and highlighting its relevance in the school context.

This paper is the culmination of an exciting and fruitful collaboration with my fantastic co-authors; Elaine McGoldrick, Rachel Ferguson, Carina Byrne and Mary Doherty.

I will be sharing a fantastic visual representation of my findings for the first time at the conference (a masterpiece created by the amazing Claire Comerford who took my vision and made it into a reality for me). Stay tuned for the post-conference reveal!
