Hi, I'm trying to find my place in the diverse and rich #hpc community - I bring knowledge from different backgrounds - CFD, performance engineering, software development, training, DevOps etc. Any ideas if any group is looking for some help where I can be helpful. Thinking about creating a course for HPC in Cloud, since many are forced to move to cloud due to budget cuts. It will be posted for free online. Would anyone here be interested in it? your feedback would help me steer it, and give me motivatation to actually implement it :) #HPC

Almost all tutorials are online in digital experience. So much to learn, so little time :) How do the authors even decide to stay in one topic for so long - so many interesting things happening at the same time #SC24

Is it just me or there is always a hum in digital experience videos. It was present yesterday and today as well making it difficult to hear the speaker #SC24

So, i was reading a paper - "XaaS: Acceleration as a Service to Enable Productive High-Performance Cloud Computing" - and saw a snarky remark from the authors :)

After experiencing so many user hostile apps on my phone - I am pleased to use the #SC24 app, it has so many UI bits thought out for users (i can see the events in my timezone) - kudos to its developers 😀

While going to parties at night #SC24 do not wear your badges outside the conference centre, if you don't want to be mugged - the first advice given to SC volunteers by the local police :) I still remember that after so many years. #HPC

I had a fantasy that the first supercomputing conference probably held jn just one room and people went for beers afterwards. Don't anyone break my fantasy.

Hello #hpc people. One of my longstanding wish is to see SC conference recorded and distributed freely. There are so many amazing talks happening at the same time, you just cannot have it all.
