It’s a little funny Steve Miller is on this list, but going to see his summer show at Starplex had kind of the same high school era “thing we do during the summer” vibe as going to a Rangers game or spending a day at Six Flags.

Seeing Edie Brickell & New Bohemians for a second time is my highly unlikely multiple concerts goal.

Was a little on the fence about including my daughter on this list, but I have been to more of her gigs than anyone else’s, and without her my list would only be the other four.

Fuck you. It was a temporary moment in time when people decided, for the first time, that 20 women were finally equal to one man.

The expectation that being away and traveling is relaxing (when what’s actually relaxing for me is my home space being organized, predictable, and necessary tasks being handled) is an additional source of stress. Added pressure to experience enjoyment.

It is the 1 to 2 hour chunks that actually get me out of my worry. Time in the garden, a familiar craft, live music, a visit with a friend, a story I know ends well.

Right? You wouldn’t want it to go bad!

We might have to compare their perspectives on mashed potatoes in burritos and margarine in everything to know for sure.
