only in the past five-ten years or so has the hardware been available to fully image floppies (8", 5.25", 3") at the magnetic flux level; some of the copy protections from the 1980s are still difficult to consistently image accurately. (the plethora of archival formats doesn't help, either)

I think the manual for Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri was like 6" x 4" x 3/8"
