I like the movie Drive and know people who don’t and I can’t explain it other than “hell yeah” and I read the director was trying to explain it to Ryan Gosling and couldn’t until they were in a car and REO Speedwagon came on and he went “THIS MOVIE IS ABOUT A GUY WHO LISTENS TO THE RADIO” hell yeah
I’ve sometimes fallen into the trap of thinking that complementing a creative person for their work is less sophisticated or desired than discussion or debate about it but very often the best thing you can say to them is hell yeah and that doesn’t make you dumb it just makes you nice

Just watched The Mummy for the first time since theaters and holy hell that movie was absolute dog shit. I get that Fraser and Weisz are hot as hell and the CGI is shockingly well integrated for the time but otherwise god damn what. No 90s nostalgia. Never 90s nostalgia.

As someone who completely missed Coroner the first time around I gotta say the new album is good as hell. If you told me it was a brand new band I'd believe you. Feels fun and fresh.
