If I didn't have a baggage limit to worry about I would've brought it just to see how unchanged it is

So I see they're going down the VoteFlux route of making their a website as if people type in websites at all these days.

So they (and a few other parties like the Libertarians) were stymied by the new electoral laws. Namely, the ones which put an 8-month deadline for registration for a party to be able to group candidates under its name on the LegCo ballot. They could still put up candidates, but not as SA Socialists

They might, though I'm not sure the grouping would be better for them vs just being an independent (especially if they're the only independent on the cards for the seat)

I'm not celebrating it? I was making a joke because, if the Greens continue down this route, they will go the way of the Democrats. That is super unfortunate, and not something I'd like to see at all. But it also doesn't preclude me from making a joke in a single comment on a social media platform.

On phone it'll be hard (unfortunately Bsky's image hosting options aren't excellent) but on a browser you should be able to open it in a new tab to get it at a good resolution. I am planning on transitioning the sheet to a site of some sort closer to the election date as well, for better viewing.

It remains the beast that it always was. Tbh I do want to do a writeup of the University of Adelaide's student politics from the last 5 years, now that the merger is only a month and a bit a way. There's alot of stories to tell there.
November 19, 2025 at 10:05 AM
Here's the candidate list, with the two SA Socialist candidates added on.

Interesting. At the very least even if they do reach 200 thy've missed the deadline (as you're well aware), but with the current political climate I could see them reaching it for the next election.
November 16, 2025 at 11:24 PM
Thank you for all of this! I'll be adding them all to the list when I get home. The Socialist Alliance candidate will go under the independent slot (as SocAll isn't a registered party here its easier for organisational purposes) but I'll def mention it on the posts I plan to do on the independents.

Are the Greens doing okay lmao? If they keep dropping I'm going to have to pre-emptively call them the Democrats 2.0
November 16, 2025 at 12:54 PM
Difficult to do when everyone in the Coalition has hammers and their own kneecaps look like nails.
November 16, 2025 at 12:53 PM
Ah interesting to hear, it'll be interesting to see who y'all nominate. I've heard similar about y'alls candidates from others, so it's good to get confirmation, thank you!
November 14, 2025 at 10:59 AM
I also assume Labor and the Liberals will fill in their remaining candidates as well quite soon. All of that tells me there'll be alot to keep my eye out on over the next month and a half.

Thank you for reading! Happy to hear my work has been helpful aha, I'll be continuing the tracker until the election and will have additional resources (such as a guide to every party contesting the election) out once we get close to election day!
