In 2016, I was offered a similar salary and told they had options re a spousal hire. Turned out the option was we could split the salary they offered me.

RIP the short rib lasagne, flan, and co.

That’s fair, though I see many people adding cream/cold pies, so for that group it’s fair game.

I love key lime pie in winter too. Then again I’ll drink stouts all summer.

This is where the negotiations have come in: too much food wasted, so bargain to make things on other non-Thanksgiving days of the trip.

And pernil is the correct & really only option.

Pernil slow smoked pulled pork style is getting closer! I’d pulled it now if we wanted slices, but another 2-3 hours should give it that fall-off-the-bone, pulled pork tenderness I’m going for today. More garlic & citrus basting in store. #FoodSky

If we can get our house out of complete chaos (thanks baby!), maybe we can set up a December gathering, Coquito included.

I’m simple on the spices, others may vary. Just keep adding rum & cinnamon until it’s to your liking. I also LOVE it next morning as creamer for a Coquito latte.

Heat 1 can evaporated milk on low heat until slight vapors. Whisk in 2 egg yolks until fully combined. Add to container of 1 can condensed milk & 1 can cream de coconut (like Coco Lopez). Blend in tons of cinnamon & your favorite rum w stick blender. Chill a few hours. Add more cinnamon & rum.

Not terribly common as south as we are but I think this is my second viewing in 3 years here. The eye view was more of a faded clay red but definitely noticeable.

I think my baby was headbutting my teeth into my nose in his sleep right at this moment, but the scenery was tranquil at least
