My #ConfinedCocktails was a cup of tea after day out in Melton Mowbray with the Christmas lights switch on, which was accompanied by a man on a hurdy gurdy and a woman playing something which I feel this audience can identify (zither?) which is partly why I mention it.

Had a most wonderful day @uni-of-warwick.bsky.social celebrating 60 years with assorted alumnae. Met some amazing people including a cohort from the Class of ‘65 including one of them who booked Rod Stewart’s then relatively unknown band for one of the opening events #Warwick60

Our local Lounge has an enormous mural of Renato (and Renee slightly obscured by the lampshades) for whom it is named adoring the walls. Thoroughly anchored in local history

I know this looks dodgy and I was sceptical but having made it numerous times with great success I can highly recommend. I use white flour and never worry about egg size. I usually use all the liquid strained from the tea. Good luck!

We’re enjoying an M&S Garnacha with home grown tomato salad and a pie bought from an “artisan” (ie expensive) market (not pictured). A nice gentle still-post-op-recovery day. I have knitted and made my own cheese crackers and now we are listening to last night’s Prom #ConfinedCocktails
