Today’s gratitude…an afternoon of knitting. I finished a baby sweater and a scarf. I then totally frogged a mostly done hat. I was just not loving it one bit. The yarn is now in a time out until further notice.

Handing out non-candy treasures at the museum today. Some adorable first time trick or treaters. One day they will ask their parents “who is that lady in the picture with me?” Thankfully no one dropped a house in me. I did have the correct socks.

I repotted the indoor plants that have enjoyed summer on the front porch. They’re back inside the house. They may move to different spots. I mowed the backyard and mulched the leaves at the same time. Rest of the day feet up and knitting with the really good yarn.

I’ve suspected for a while that a cat has been sleeping on one of my front porch chairs. Caught on the security camera the past two nights. I might have bought some kitty treats for my porch kitty today. Ella is definitely not a cat lover. But porch snoozing is ok.

A march and a rally today…someone had a boom box and a protest playlist. I’m worn out today but so proud to be in the middle of a very peaceful protest. They also collected supplies for a local food bank. It was definitely a win/win.

New art at the museum today. The doors just opened on this new display. I was absolutely giddy seeing these beautiful pieces. Post museum tour at the yarn shop just a few blocks away. 💯 the really good stuff. I haven’t been in a LYS since moving to SC. I’ll definitely be back.
