Oh, and that’s a Donna Haraway reference about “staying with the trouble”. Another musician influenced by her incredible writing is Ben Weaver (who isn’t on Bluesky but do check out his beautiful album Stay With on Bandcamp).

…but that is exactly what this song does, culminating in its own downpour with thundering drums (thank you @joshj_music) and lightning clarinets (c’est moi). My local sparrows round out the song with a post-storm cameo.
