@rubylanders.bsky.social has done it again! The Counterpart, book two of the Gold Hill series is edgy, sexy, sapphic and suspenseful. There hasn’t been a book they’ve written I haven’t loved. I eagerly await the next!

I put off watching #ComeSeeMeInTheGoodLight because I thought it would be too hard with the grief of my own. But what I saw was a beautiful love story. Simply beautiful.

California people do not know how to dress their children for rain. A puffer jacket is not for rain! Winter boots are not for rain! Why is this so hard? Just buy a rain coat and rubber boots.

I’ve never stood in an election line so long. 2 hours for ONE ballot measure. Not even a candidate. One measure…yes or no. And it looks like we did it!

The govt shut down is effecting children the most as not only are they losing food via SNAP but now Head Start programs are starting to have to close. Children are safe and fed in those programs. He doesn’t give a shit about children.

As an older gay I cannot begin to express the beauty that is a #ChappellRoan concert. Gay men, woman, transgender people, children at their first concert & parents there dancing with and supporting them. It was so joyful and liberating. Outside of Pridefest I’ve never seen a more inclusive space.
