Cantonese tea caddy painted with Europeans playing cards. 18th C, enamelled copper. In the Hong Kong Museum of Art.
A rectangular, enamelled copper box for holding tea. It is painted with a picture of six Europeans. Five are men who sit around a table playing cards. The sixth is a woman holding a pitcher and turning away from a man who is trying to grab her. There are chickens scratching at her feet.
