Food banks are going to be under a ton of strain due to all of this, too. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up empty before long and people are left without a choice.

I hate all of this so much.

I've been super out of the loop thanks to chronic fatigue and other personal factors and catching up on several fandoms has been....interesting, to say the least

Chapter 1 is completely laid out and the script is written, so it's really just a matter of sitting down and fleshing out all my doodles and then polishing them. This story is very near and dear to my heart and I want to share more of it!

my current plans involve finishing chapter 1 of Firebrand before I possibly migrate it to a different medium, and also a lil indie game. Been learning to pace myself by doing self-indulgent stuff too and my OCs are getting a bit of love! It's been helping me stay afloat mentally

I'm also hoping to get back to streaming late this month, but no promises; things have been all over the place whew

The allure of instant gratification is a trap. It has its place, but when it's all you know, it will drown you.

Self-expression requires patience and thought, but will reward you tenfold.

Focus not solely on the result, but on the process as well.

There's nothing wrong with validation, until you become addicted to it to the point of blindess from your own joy. Nothing wrong until you forget that your happiness comes from more than one place. Nothing wrong until someone tricks you into thinking you can't produce it for yourself.
