I would love to do a brain imaging study on new disc bulging / mechanical pain patients and see if receiving a health and pain education will change anything in their brain compared to people who are not receiving any educational infos. 😜

I also noticed a lot of anxieties in the online communities from lower back pain sufferers. Many worry about that disc or injury pain may last forever. I think a short intervention at primary cares may help reduce these anxieties which in addition prevent the pain from transitioning to chronic pain.

EAET is not as marketed as PRT, probably because it is a psychodynamic therapy. But it seems to have evidence on its efficacy. PRT, on the other hand, marketing itself heavily with sciency words from neuroscience, but it is basically a type of CBT. The one RCT seems to indicate promising results.
