Apparently I was added to some starter pack list, so I have like 1300 followers now. Cool cool. I'm not really trying to engage with the public so much as find a community, but if you dig what I post, please comment and maybe we'll get to know each other.

Society needs to settle on a maximum wealth level. I'd put it around $3B, but that's probably high.

Because anyone with more than a few billion knows there's no difference to their life or their heirs if they have $3B vs. $30B, so they'll spend $27B to make a world where no one can tell them "No."

She says social media influenced “not just the usual suspects” but also “young Jewish Americans who don’t know the history and don’t understand.”

Inspired by @boardgamehottakes.bsky.social, I took a look at my BGG ratings. Of the 415 games I've rated, 1 was a 3, 4 were 4, 23 fives, 73 sixes, 134 sevens, 131 eights, and 49 nines. No ones, twos or tens to be found.

What is Jared Kushner's job in the administration?
I’d rather question why is Kushner there and why is he laying out a vision? We did not vote him into any gov position nor the senate we voted for has approved his candidacy.

This isn’t a grey zone anymore, it’s 50 shades of grey.

There's no such thing as the Department of War. There's no signature block at all on this memorandum. Free speech is free speech. You can't recall a retired servicemember for actions performed AFTER their retirement. Illegal orders are illegal orders.
So much nonsense in such a short document.

a big runoff last night, in New Orleans:

Calvin Duncan was exonerated after spending *28 years* in prison; he tried to get his own case records from the New Orleans city clerk—but the office dragged its feet.

So Duncan ran to become city clerk himself, and yesterday ousted the incumbent.
