I remembered the Chihayafuru manga was good...
But I forgot that it's required to say "this manga is so good" at the end of every chapter.
It really is a great manga, with a ton of range in every chapter. I hope it gets a print release someday for more people to read it!

If you ever wanted more "Ace Attorney/Phoenix Wright" live action lawyer/courtroom series, but with a shogi twist... You don't get much better than "Checkmate Lawyer" on JME!
It's a fun show with a great cast. I hope they make a second season!

The 2018 Japanese TV adaptation of "Princess Jellyfish" is now streaming on Doki TV. This is a new adaptation of the manga (available in English from Kodansha) and has a different cast from the 2014 movie with the same name (streaming on Cineverse).

Definitely reads better in volumes than a monthly release. And had an ending that tied the whole series together really nicely.

I should have liked the "Captain Tsubasa" manga. It had everything I thought I wanted.

"Miss King" on Netflix was the first "Abema Drama Series" I've watched.
The last episode was really strong, which was nice!
I do wish the element of shogi was better portrayed. It felt very overshadowed even being the core motivator for the plot. Final episode fixed that.

There's a controversy going on with WSS editorial and Shite no Hana's TOC placement. In short, its placement is not a result of its popularity (or lack thereof), rather it's due to WSS's editorial mishandling of the manuscripts (specifically delay in submitting them for publication).
