My 3-year-old is getting *really* good at drawing maps. (They are nonsense, but increasingly purposeful nonsense). As a parent and as a lifelong DM, this makes me proud.

I will be fast-tracking my applications for ILR and citizenship so I can get under any future Conservative or Reform government policies that would send me back where I came from, with or without my wife and children. What are we even doing?

I had always understood the UK to be a flawed but tolerant country, imperfectly living out its post-imperial identity with a more ethnically-mixed society than much of my home country. Instead, its political elites seem to be looking directly at the worst examples of US xenophobia for inspiration.
