I wonder if the opportunity is to make it so that users don't need to. That is, if the competition around probabilistic compute boils down to access to high-value data, things can change from:

sellers -$-> creators -<amuse>-> consumers -$-> sellers

...to:

creators <-$- agents <-$- consumers

I'd be very interested to know your thoughts about Cloudflare's proposed microbilling for agents as a new econ model for a post-search web: blog.cloudflare.com/introducing-...

Wikipedia feels like an institution that would benefit greatly from this approach.

Of course, it has its own risks...

Hey friends, quick note: the Bsky default feed is an old-school, chronological timeline - so while A:B testing for engagement with a variety of different descriptions for the same content may still have use, releasing them all at once can have a spam-like quality in-feed. Anyhow, love the content!

Until they hash out where longterm differentiation will come from (and 80/20 dominance emerges), I expect it'll continue to get worse. Then, it'll resolve overnight as the long tail of also-rans adopt the winner's approach to minimize switching costs🤞
