British. Lived all over. Now in Manchester. Lots of adventures. An enemy of authoritarianism. Has a whimsical view of the 1920s: absinthe, jazz and art: not the misogyny, poverty, colonialism and racism: all fixed in my head.
I thought it was owned by Severn Trent. And apologies if I am wrong.

Only second to the US for obesity issues.

Outside of sports grounds there is great food all over the UK.

Most visitors are too dumb to know how to find it.

Truth is out now.

But I wouldn’t go to cricket/baseball or any sports grounds seeking Canadian food anywhere in the world.

Let’s not make false equivalency, you utter bellend.

And, when the revolution comes, you’ll be the first to be ahem, slightly embarrassed.

What’s best is that Farage does not even know what is in that deal yet. Bellend.

The reality is, if you look at the figures, that family settlement plus then students staying on represent most of the legal migration figures: so to sort them you either 1) suddenly become very unfair on family or 2) change the whole funding structure for higher ed in the UK.

Missing stuff?

Well the saying used to be never eat faux Mexican west of the Mississippi.

Horrid crass stuff from Hall. Not surprised. But what is it they have sooo much against ULEZ, a policy that is now proven as cleaning up harmful pollution in London. Pollution that has a direct health impact on people.

You first angry little man.

I assume you were taking a day off from writing for a living.
April 13, 2025 at 8:27 AM
It is your right to do that. But there is a concerted effort on twitter, using strikingly samey language that suggests a lack of solidarity for workers.
April 12, 2025 at 10:59 AM
I would counsel academics to show solidarity with others rather than seeking to undermine arguments to support skilled jobs in the UK: doing so takes away some sympathy from a good case.

There should be room for a thriving academic sector AND heavy industry.
