Physicist | NJ State Senator | Proudly representing the 16th Legislative District in Central Jersey (yes, it exists)
NJ PBS has been a good neighbor to New Jersey families for generations, but years of financial hardship have put at risk the news, stories, and shows that mean so much to us. I’m working with my neighbors in the Legislature to ensure public broadcasting stays in our neighborhood.

This week, we're recognizing the courage and accomplishments of our transgender community in New Jersey and across the country. I'm proud to stand with our LGBTQ+ neighbors to protect access to gender-affirming care, defend the freedom to read, and fight for equal rights.

New Jersey is for the people, not polluters. That's why we need to pass the Climate Superfund Act and finally #MakePollutersPay for the damage they've done to our planet. Support S3545/A4696 for a cleaner, more resilient New Jersey.

Grateful for the testimony we received today on how we can continue providing reliable public broadcasting to millions in NJ. Whether it's trusted local news or Sesame Street, families deserve the reliable public broadcasting service that enriches lives and strengthens community.

Leaders across New Jersey are working to solve the greatest issues in our state, from the soaring cost of housing to unequal opportunity in our education system.

I was glad to join those leaders at Crossroads NJ to discuss our progress and the path forward.

Thanks to the Freedom to Read Act, even Assemblywoman Fantasia can challenge a book in her own community through a fair, transparent process involving parents, teachers, and experts.

You decide what your kids read, but you don't decide for anyone else. That’s the law in New Jersey

Trump bragging about “terminating” the Gateway Tunnel Project, along with thousands of NJ jobs and major economic opportunities.

Jack knows the hurt this will bring to NJ, but he's been silent. @mikiesherrill.bsky.social is speaking up, and as our next Governor, she will fight back.

With the skyrocketing cost of everything from groceries to housing, the last thing we needed this summer were higher utility bills.

I joined @njwfp.bsky.social, @njlcv.bsky.social, Sierra Club NJ, and ISLES to call on PJM to stop sidelining the clean, affordable energy we need to lower our bills.

Congratulations to the Bayard Rustin Center on unveiling the Queer History Archive!

This digital collection honors the legendary life and career of activist Bayard Rustin. In the midst of efforts to erase our history, their work to uplift Rustin’s legacy can inspire and guide us all.
