In July 2022, on the eve of Johnson’s announcement that he would resign from government, Lewis spent the day in 10 Downing Street and worked closely with Johnson and his advisers. Lewis appears to have arrived early in the morning, at 7.50am, and took part in at least six meetings during the day, including a gathering of Johnson’s aides to prepare him for prime minister’s questions (PMQs) in the House of Commons. In the meetings, which stretched into the evening, Lewis appears to have participated in gatherings of Johnson’s closest political allies, including several MPs and a senior minister, as the prime minister came under intense pressure to step down.

Exclusive: Bill Pulte accused Fed Governor Lisa Cook of fraud. His relatives filed housing claims similar to hers Mark and Julie Pulte, the father and stepmother of Bill Pulte, President Donald Trump’s appointee as director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, since 2020 have claimed so-called “homestead exemptions” for residences in wealthy neighborhoods in both Michigan and Florida, according to the records. The exemption is meant to give a discount to homeowners on taxes for properties they use as their primary residence. Local tax officials in both states told Reuters that claiming more than one home as a primary residence isn’t generally allowed in their jurisdictions and could be punishable by fines or back taxes. After Reuters contacted tax officials in Bloomfield Township, Michigan, to inquire about the dual claims, Darrin Kraatz, director of assessing, on Thursday said the township “as of today” would revoke the exemption on the Pultes’ residence there.

I keep getting calls about how The NY Times is trying to falsely accuse me of being a “lobbyist” because they refuse to accept the fact that I am influential because of my own hard work. Loomer: I am a very good journalist and highly effective communicator. Some people would say I’m Clairvoyant. Some people think I’m on the spectrum because they are baffled by how my mind works. My haters are more than welcome to work as hard as I do. But they are lazy and jealous. I work 20 hours a day. I don’t have time for these jealousy games with people who want influence but have none because they are fake and will never be as genuine as I am.

This policy is even wilder than I thought. A household making $100k/yr (60th-80th percentile) would be ineligible to rent a stabilized apartment that costs less than $2,500/month. Again nearly half of all rental properties in NYC are stabilized.
