Crit Care, ID, Cards, whatever! Still the Super Saiyan of pharmacy!
Enjoying a nice comfy break from social media and capturing a couple top 3 finishes while that’s still achievable! Gotta get better about coming back here, feel like I’m just not as caught up with the latest lit these days!

These won’t last, but I’ll take the Ws and podiums when I can!

It’s finished, #pharmsky! I better have a plaque up at accp/bps after all this!

420 hours of fun, but can I do it again? That’s a 2030s problem now!

A graphic I think about way too much is this h pylori tx table. Pretty standard, but it answers a question I get occasionally - what to do for h pylori when you don’t have enteral access.

Is HP really an acute problem that needs immediate tx? Not sure, but theres an option!

Put together a little evidence pack on the topic to share in hopes of decreasing anaerobe coverage for aspiration PNA - this should be a solid addition! Linked below.

Any #pelotonmed friends make it over here yet? This was a rough ride, had to tap out at 90 mins but longest ride I’ve ever done!

British neurologists wants you to wait 7 days after plavix, best of luck to all those in need of an emergent LP 😅

Hey Pharmsky, here’s your reminder to please continue buprenorphine in the periop period! Pain control is a lot more difficult when you’re trying to address acute pain AND replace the MMEs from home bup!

From a solid BMJ article on the topic: rapm.bmj.com/content/46/1...

Who is still using metronidazole q8h for most indications? There’s definitely an opportunity for less frequent dosing most of the time!

I’ve attached my proposal from last year - feel free to take a look, and hopefully it can save you some trouble and doses for you too!

Yo, #MedSky! As a former big advocate of the community on Twitter, I’m feeling very positive that we can build something great, maybe even better here! Looking forward to more opportunities to teach and learn!
