#telegram far reaching anti-spam bot just restricted the account of a friend of mine after he posted a link in our group chat. A single link to an #anarchism essays book that was totally on topic for the conversation we were all having.

Capitalism wants us productive. Art reminds us to be present. Capitalism wants content. Art wants meaning. Capitalism isolates. Art connects. Even when made in private, even when it never leaves your notebook, art is still a way back to yourself. Above all, art connects us to the spirit of creation.

#AGI for me will forever be Adventure Game Interpreter and tied to Sierra On-Line. Now, all you prompt jugglers can get out of my lawn.

Grokipedia proves you can get everything you want and still be a thin-skinned, childish, anti-factual piece of shit.

am considering BlogCat almost feature complete at this point.

With this month works, I covered the minimal set of posting features I wanted. The reading features have been done since the beginning of the year.

Guess it is time for me to start working on #blogging project number two

Today I implemented posting threads for both #mastodon and #bluesky on BlogCat:

https://blogcat.org

I still need to do some bugfixing and documentation before I release this, but I think it is a good feature.

Over the recent years, I have fallen in love with some indie #RPG, here is the current list:

This blog post about scripts the author uses regularly has been the best blog post I read in a while:

So many nice little utilities. I might steal some.

Sabe o que não caiu com a AWS? O curl e todas as suas ferramentas com linux local
Some of the most unexpected fallouts of an AWS outage:

1. Postman stopped working: an API development tool built to be an alternative to simple tools like curl.

2. Eight Sleep customers couldn’t use their beds to change positions / set or keep temperature

Preparing a new release of #BlogCat

Finally added support for image upload to both #bluesky and #mastodon. Am quite happy with my progress.

I been enjoying #soapmaking for a couple years now. I love listening to audiobooks while letting myself go a bit automatic making cute soaps and massage bars. Here are some of favourites I made.

(Also attempting to images with alt text from #BlogCat for the first time, let's hope it works)

I used Userland Frontier back in the 90s. Alongside Runtime Revolution, they were my tools of choice. Runtime Revolution for desktop apps, Frontier for Web stuff.

It was a better way to work.

jesus H christ and all the other gods, are people really giving Claude and other agentic cloud-based AIs access to their filesystem?!

Holy fuck! WHY?!

Find it disgusting to see some names supporting DHH on his little rant.

When you say "Everybody is welcome" in support to someone who's sprouted racist bs online, what you're saying is "racists are welcome and everyone else can fuck off"

What the fucking fuck that #Chrome doesn't support `background.scripts` in its Manifest v3 for #WebExtensions.

That is stupid.

If you wanna know why I haven't released BlogCat for Google Chrome and by consequence for Vivaldi, Edge and the other Chromiums, it is because of that.

Implemented linkgraphs in BlogCat, totally stole the feature from Artemis. It looks super cool.

The screenshots linked here are from Artemis and from BlogCat showing the same feature.

I wrote a bit about it in andregarzia.com/2025/09/link...

Made three releases of my #blogging tool #blogcat this week:

https://blogcat.org

It provides a calmer experience than many other clients and also allows you to post to microblogging services.

It is a #WebExtension so it integrates nicely into #Firefox

I love RSS. Here are some RSS Readers that I think are doing something cool/different:
[email protected]: My favorite, rss-to-email. Convenient, where I'm already at, great support
