I'll think about these chars for hours. If they're part of the universe they're part of the universe. I see your point but it is a Nintendo dick move to sway your experience this way. Why even do this? Who is this char for? Surely there are plenty of ways to teach the player to press A?

Focus groups. 100%... Kind of a let down. If they had shown the public this character half a year ago they might have been able to redo the model, replace the name and replace the dialogue and it would be fine.

I see dates as the main diff from just looking in the menu on the switch. Which is totally fine and a bit cool. But the intetnet is really hyping this feature. Starting to wonder if Nintendo planted these stories in the collective consciousness. 🤔🤔
