Will Jeremy Corbyn finally come of the fence and fully back proportional representation?

If not, will he publicly acknowledge that the very existence of his new party is likely to serve the interests of Reform UK?

While these elections cast some light on Labour's current predicament, the real story is that we are witnessing the death of the Conservative Party.
What did the English local elections tell us?
It was election day in parts of England on Tuesday, with 23 councils holding local elections. There were also six mayoral elections and a pa...

This govt certainly inherited a dire economic situation from the Tories, but they seem determined to make it worse.

The Chancellor claims she has no choice. Cutting support for the poorest rather than doing a deal with the EU to boost growth is a choice.

Disappointed by the Chancellor’s Spring Statement—a missed chance to support South Cambs' businesses, high streets & GP surgeries. Cutting care for those who need daily support isn’t just wrong—it won’t help them into jobs. If the government is serious about welfare reform, it must fix H&SC!

Curious to hear Donald Trump claiming "fake news" is "the unforgiveable sin".

He's right though. He won't be forgiven for it.

The map on the left shows the results by constituency for the German federal elections (CDU - black; SPD - red; AfD - blue)

Anyone want to put forward any theories as to why AfD's support is so heavily concentrated in the former GDR while they failed to win a single constituency in the former GFR?

Hard to describe what it's like being in Kyiv, surrounded by brilliant, unshakeable, brave Ukranians, and reading Trump's comments.

Almost every major British political party has bent the knee to Donald Trump.

The Liberal Democrats are happy to stay standing.
Meet the UK party that thinks Trump-bashing is a vote-winner
The centrist Lib Dems hope standing up to the U.S. president will shore up support from progressive Brits.

Any "peace deal" that makes the world a more dangerous and less secure place is not worthy of the description.

There is a huge difference between an unjust ceasefire and peace.

Lovely humans,

I'm training to run a half-marathon for @scotrefugeecouncil.bsky.social in May!

I only started running last year so this is a big challenge for me - but I know the challenge for refugees to rebuild their lives is even greater.

All donations/shares would be HUGELY appreciated!! ❤️❤️❤️
