Those who worded the Constitution weren't really any better than Trump.
They were racist, oligarchical slaveowners who spread Indigenous genocide in their wake and believed in a "natural aristocracy" where society was constituted to "defend the opulent of the minority against the majority".

Someone just told me access to food is not a right, whereas owning any amount of property, like all the land and resources ppl need to survive, is. What a cruel yet typical sentiment to hear while living under late capitalism.

Everyone… I just need to rent a place to replace our tent. My family has fallen very sick because of it, Don’t forget us even with the ceasefire it’s an illusion to divert attention from us. Our suffering has worsened, the situation is extremely dire and I’ve lost everything except my trust in you.
My dearest friend set up the weekly and monthly donation options so that we can stay alive after a tent was destroyed just 100 meters away from us last night. The sand covered our faces while we were still alive.

It's true, patriotism does mean loving and mourning mass murderers, even committing mass murder oneself. Making billions in the process is just a perk, I guess.
I wasn’t a Dick Cheney fan, but also never questioned his patriotism. Photos & videos of his funeral need to be replayed daily as reminder of what patriotism & country over party truly mean. The political diversity of the crowd honoring his life is an image of all that has made this country great.

Liberals are truly the most wilfully ignorant puss heads. Their faith in the system runs so deep that even the likes of Dick Cheney must have been doing "what he thought was good for the country" as he "stood up for democracy".
I never liked Cheney & disagreed with his politics. But, I don’t doubt that he espoused what he thought was good for the country. He made mistakes, a big one being his push for more power in the presidency. But he was an American first & always; despite what it cost Liz, he stood up for democracy.

Schools should be converted into 24-hour learning centers where ppl of all ages come to determine their own learning, whatever they want to learn. I don't care if not all kids learn every scrap of knowledge you say they need.
