Oooh, I had a vampire type patron! He interlibrary loaned a bunch of rare books on witchcraft and sigils and stuff, lost or damaged them all, and owed hundreds and hundreds of dollars in fines and fees. He unsuccessfully tried to seduce his way out of paying, then ghosted.

Guys who suck are truly timeless. Mr. Thorpe is totally recognizable as a guy who sucks—doesn’t ask questions, tells weird lies, braggy, doesn’t apologize, won’t shut up. Just a classic guy who sucks!

The vast majority of fired fed workers were just fired. There was no deal for them—they were escorted out of their offices and shut out of email.

I don’t think any of the fed workers who were given the opportunity and took the deal will end up getting paid anyway, but we’ll see!

simply repeating the straight reporting of what is happening in the executive branch makes you sound like you have lost your mind.
