I mean the one counter to this is that a mouse is essential to actually play RTS and FPS games. Even Nintendo incorporated mouse functionality into the Switch 2, and I wouldn’t wanna play Cyberpunk without it. Platformers though? Yeah a controller is absolutely necessary.

I really wish seat forecasts in election coverage would label the ideological affiliation of each candidate, because it’s a far more useful lens to understand how American politics actually functions.

It’s literally just this meme, except that the impairment they wind up developing causes them to develop an irrational hatred of the systems that enabled their wealth in the first place.

Likewise, this is why Andor chants and Hunger Games salutes are an essential part of protests against this regime: they serve to directly counter the pop culture symbols of authority that these fascists hope to co-opt.
