your "loved it!" feeds me
“loved it!” is all you need to say. blurt that out on Steam, YouTube, Amazon for whatever game, book, or video caught your fancy
The algorithm is all consuming but you can help cool people by just commenting “👍🏼”’ so do it
If you have YouTubers you like and follow and watch their videos a lot
leave innane/positive comments on their videos. The algo is all fucked up for YT creators and a lot of videos get sent to the void for whatever reason.
I hate doing it, but I've been trying to do it.

i didn't spend my teens and 20s practising being aloof, pointy, and insufferable to NOT deploy the responses she suggests
and they’ll be like “I’m a dentist”

I'm supposed to attend a non-writer dinner event in a couple weeks & I'm already having anxiety because of these kinds of scenarios.

As we lose the generation who survived WW2, it feels like we're going hard at pretending it never happened.
Actually I think a lot of historical atrocities are far closer than we'd like to admit

usually i like being proven more and more right, but not with all the horrors these days
Talking to a librarian friend back home, she mentions a patron looking for help finding a book she liked as a kid. Super common request.
Lady is adamant the title is “something like XYZ and there’s a picture of a rabbit on it.”

Trans people aren’t taking away your place in society.
Immigrants aren’t taking your jobs, healthcare, or housing.
Rich people are. And they want us fighting to keep from focusing on them.

In the Victorian era, a baker unintentionally created a symbol of poverty: the bread line.
Louis Fleischmann noticed men gathering outside, huddling against the warmth that drifted from his ovens. Moved by their condition, he carried out trays of unsold bread.
