#hobbystreak day 14. The wolves are coming together. Fixing some spilled paint and bad blending borders next, then some drybrushing and painting small details. I think that’s gonna be it!

#hobbystreak day 12. Original contrast paint fur on these wolves wasn’t doing it so I’m painting over with layers, blending and drybrushing. Got the first layer down, realized after the first coat that I don’t need to cover the entire model, just the areas where this layer will actually be visible

#hobbystreak day 11. Desperately trying to make slapchop happen. My initial airbrushed zenithal highlighting wasn’t bright enough so I drybrushed in more off-white before slapping in some contrast paint. Not super happy with the result so I’m probably going to go quite heavy with drybrushing the fur

#hobbystreak day 9. Worked on highlights for hair & cloth and face details, I’ll still do another pass on the eye glows and the cheek face paint lines. Otherwise I think it’s just the base and some overall touch-ups to fix accidental paint splotches left.

#hobbystreak day 8. Worked on cloth highlights, hair and earrings. Might do another pass, then some face details, possibly darken the belt, slap some color & drybrushing on the base & touch-ups.

#hobbystreak day 4. I think I’m alright with the skin now. Put some contrast paint on the bone areas but didn’t like it so I put base & wash over. Still need to do highlights, after that probably a similar treatment for the red cloth, the darker areas of the contrast paint don’t look very good

Working on the skin still. First attempt was darker than I intended, this version looks more like rotting flesh which is a vibe but not exactly what I was going for either. Probably still going to fiddle with it. #hobbystreak day 3

Also I’ve never had a brush break like this. Wasn’t really among my favorites so I don’t feel too bad about binning it
