I don't think most non-streamers/youtubers realize that it's not as simple as just "stream something else" or "make videos on another game" - especially for small/mid-size creators. It can be a "Rent/Food vs Ethics" conundrum.

I get the same thing with youtube sometimes... everyone thinks a social media following means "money" - without really understanding how the systems work.

If I get replies that get mad in both directions (too negative AND too positive) -that's when I know I did my job - bonus points when I get replies that claim several hundred (or thousand) hours in a title isn't enough to judge it.

The reason there's discussion about this particular skull is because a certain individual has it tattood on them and claimed they didn't know what it means (even though all evidence points to them not only knowing what it means, but actively seeking it out)

Personally I've always found them disorienting - I prefer relative controls with a level of movement persistence (FFX is an example of this) - though if resources allow it, the best solution is almost always "put it in the options menu and let the player choose"
