btw for anyone reading (I'm sure tahk0 knows this intimately lol) if you ever wanna do a video game book club, Kirby's Dream Land is an awesome starter. It's easy to play, averages just 1 hour long, & anyone can play just by searching "kirbys dream land play online" (though I am a big hardware fan)

this is the way I live my life & it's awesome jumping back and forth between decades of incredible video games.
I'd say the biggest drawback though is not having a digital zeitgeist of hundreds of others playing the same game at the same time.
But this also makes these games great for "book clubs"
