I grew up around Spanish speaking people. I could speak it before Kindergarten. And we could have had this convo in Spanish. But one insulted me thinking I couldn’t understand him and that is when I’m going to let the dog loose. Communication solves problems. It’s that simple.

Here’s the thing tho, this is the kind of stuff that makes people angry and opens the door to racism. If someone doesn’t know English, then fine. If they speak their native language amongst their peers, fine. But when someone asks a question and the person knows how to respond — they should.

I was just about to reply in Spanish and one said something I really didn’t appreciate so instead, I went back to my truck and let my buddy out. Once everyone was either in or on their vehicles, something amazing happened… everyone could speak English and we got it all sorted without further barks.

I’m going down a rabbit hole here, but that whole sovereign citizen thing is whack. They absolutely despise socialism but think the government is just supposed to give them roads. If you sign a tax doc or anything with a SSN, you’re signing away your god given right to live free… they’re nuts.

Scrappers are in my opinion some of the hardest working people trying to not work. I know a guy who does this and he’d work less and make more if he just went into QuikTrip and got a job. He’s a sovereign citizen type tho… doesn’t even have a valid license and drives everywhere.
