before we really "knew" what her issue was, she was honestly really suspicious because half-wishing that your own child had died in a terrorist hostage situation is an unhinged mentality no matter how you slice it 😭😭 especially in a manga where all the evil characters are willing to harm kids

he avoids him bc the mole arc proved that yuri's not dumb and can easily catch him slipping, but also l0id just thinks yuri's the annoying brother-in-law that he never asked for

the continuity issue that comes in is that after that arc, l0id starts to avoid interacting with yuri to keep him from getting suspicious; they haven't seen each other since and y0r is the one who goes to yuri instead of him dropping in, and when he does like in the bonus comics, l0id isn't around

thing is, if they end where everyone expects, then everyone who was in the first ep will also be in the last ep Except him! if they adapted M68 as the season opening, it would've bookended the story with the last arc where they fight again (and it builds to loid finally losing it at him in that arc)

it's one of my favorite comedy chps, yuri gets humiliated, l0id acts petty the entire time, y0r and l0id act domestic, 4nya is the only sane person in the apartment, it's gold
they removed it (it was before the bus) but if they save it for the next season, they'll be making a HUGE continuity mistake

yep, yuri is basically twilight's shonen rival and the biggest threat looming over him; he's really sharp and notices small details, he's similarly cautious, and he also works for straight days without rest just like him; he's just less experienced, but l0id's compromise for y0r is an even handicap

they are LITERALLY the same, but bc the anime does a piss poor job adapting it, it's totally lost on ppl that the bus arc had yuri being a stand-in for what's normally l0id's role; he was the one who broke the stalemate and he's meant to be a real match for twilight, which leads to the next arc

she's one of the most interesting supporting characters in the story and for the longest time it wasn't clear if she was Good or Bad (because of how she viewed her own kids) but even now it looks like she did actually love her family completely at first and things just spiraled after a certain point
