I've been self-indulging recently and doing sketches based around Sonic stuff. It's honestly been helping me reconnect with why I started drawing, and it's started to reflect a lot in my personal stuff.
I feel like I forgot what made it fun for me, and I'm remembering.

Realizing it's been a year and a half and I'm simultaneously in awe of and furious at the final part of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
I have never been so betrayed before such an epic series of boss fights, and I will never truly recover I think.

I think the thing I hate most about mentally exhausting work days is it wears out my defenses and sometimes the gremlins get a little more power.
