Holy cow! That’s a long life for a dog! My dogs life expectancy is only 11-13 years. I so wish we could figure out how to extend their lives a little longer.

I refused to mold to what they wanted. They don’t think like that anymore but my dad has voted for Dump every time, although I don’t consider him a magat. My mother had dementia by last November and didn’t vote but she thought Dump was an idiot! She died in February.

I grew up in rural America and I never let their crazy ignorant ways affect me. But I get it, it isn’t easy. I’m glad my parents weren’t very political, but I didn’t agree with them on everything. My dad thought gay people were just inherently evil and my mother was raised racist!

Oh yeah and I had plenty! It’s funny, they preached our core values of honor, courage, and commitment and then most didn’t even follow them. I tried to embody all of them and took them serious. So many soldiers and sailors seem to lack integrity as well. I’m just glad I’m out.

I think some senior enlisted people considered me a threat cuz maybe I made them look bad. Same with the E6s. I was smart and picked up things quickly and I was a stickler for attention to detail, COs love that, and…I was a woman. I never tried to make enemies, it just always seemed to happen.

I think my record was flagged tbh. When I was a paralegal my record went to the same panel as it did when I was an NC. I was also probably one of the first sailors to voluntarily convert out of the LN rate. I was considered a traitor and the senior enlisted LNs smeared my name.

And even with that they still made me sailor of the year 🙄 I’m probably the only navy E6 in the history of the navy that received senior sailor of the year 3 times and couldn’t make chief. A few CMCs I knew who sat on the advancement boards couldn’t understand why I wasn’t advancing either. 🤷🏻♀️

I did almost exactly that when they made me sailor of the year like a month before I retired 🙄 in my board they asked why I thought I deserved it and I flat out told them I didn’t and that it was utterly pointless to give it to me when it won’t benefit me one iota 😂 My CMC was quite mad at me!

Am I ever glad I’m out! It was bad enough having to serve under Dumpy for 8 months of his 1st term, but to have to serve under that guy with the job I had? I would have been up to my eyeballs in paperwork over transgender and dei bullshit and changes.

I took an HYT waiver, it was supposed to be 12 months and it came back approved for 25 months. I had to terminate shore early to go to air wing staff, but they wanted me there for almost a full tour, hence the extra months. Honestly, after I hit 20, I dgaf anymore. I had no problem talking back 😬😂

…plus just the stupid games the other legalman played just plain wore me out! Then I became a career counselor and that was a whole different kind of ball game. I was definitely ready to retire at 20, but didn’t until 22 as I was filling a critical billet.

I was a paralegal for part of my career and then a career counselor the rest, the bureaucracy was absolutely horrible in both jobs, although the JAG Corp was the worse of the two…and you’d think they’d be better! I endured severe verbal and emotional abuse by a LCDR which drove me from the job….

I gave up driving about a year ago. I love the limes, they are so much fun. However, I live in a big city so it’s easy to lime, as long as it’s not raining or snowing lol. It’s the rest of our public transportation that sucks! I live in Detroit btw.

I’m actually quite fortunate I didn’t get kicked out. I used to disrespect my chief to his face every day, but I did it in a very passive-aggressive way so he never picked up on it. I couldn’t stand him and he was not very intelligent. He kept asking ME how to do HIS job!

It has gotten me into hot water a few times. I was in the military, so kind of hard to buck legal orders. I was described as tenacious, opinionated, and outspoken. Needless to say I retired as an E6, likely because of my mouth. I pissed in one too many bowls of wheaties. 😂

I can’t trust anyone who doesn’t like dogs. I get cats, cuz I’m not particularly fond of them either. I also understand allergies, but I’ve seen people with allergies still pet dogs, but immediately wash their hands after. It’s people who truly don’t like dogs. You can’t trust them.

I literally cannot wrap my brain around how many black, Hispanic and middle eastern people actually voted for him and how many are still supporting him. It’s like women voting for him! Talk about voting against your own best interest! Also totally not surprised about the attempted solicitation.

God! I wish they could be investigated. Always, always follow the money with these rich douchebags! I bet their bank accounts and off shore accounts tell a completely different story. Our govt corruption is like a million times worse than Watergate! We look like a damn 3rd world country!
