Increased surveillance, no chance of accountability when something goes wrong, and a loss of income for human drivers, I’ll pass thanks. I wish it weren’t so because autonomous transportation is great, but this is not the way. More and faster transit please.

They’re roving surveillance machines. The reason all the Waymo’s in LA got set on fire during riots is because people knew that they’d turn any footage over to the feds. So, we don’t want them here for that reason alone. The feds are bad enough as it is, they don’t need yet another set of cameras.
