I adore that the way this sequel gets out of the narrative black hole of executing your main character at the end of the last one was basically the “priest in the electric chair” joke from Top Secret! 😆

As an ex-librarian, I fully support taking the classics out for a new spin as many of my recent favorites apply but even if you’re not a fan those still spark interest in younger viewers to at least check out older related media
