I haven't got a hot take on these jury reforms. My instinct is that it's not a good idea to restrict jury trials. On the other hand, in more minor cases, it doesn't seem much different to the magistrates court. #c4news

So I bought a few bits and pieces so I could work out at home.
I just did my first hour of exercises in 6 weeks.

I gotta agree about Day 1 rights being daft. We've often had new hirings who don't turn up on time, or at all. Others don't want to do what they were employed to. Not being able to get rid of those immediately would be ridiculous. #c4news

It's a bit annoying that #c4news is attacking the government for raising tax thresholds, at the same time as attacking that not enough money is going to certain public services. It's disingenuous to make out you can have better services without paying for them.
