In conclusion I hold this movie dearly in my heart but it is a really painful watch. The whole movie feels like a love declaration and I wish the director would have had a happy ending like in the movie.

but this feels more real and down to earth than some other bl representations. This movie is about love regardless of gender. It’s one of my favorite romantic movies. It’s even more touching since it was inspired by the director’s personal story.

that definitely accepts more homosexuality than taiwanese society in 1987. I’m also used to watch boys love content, but when I first saw this movie I had never seen a lgbtq+ content this violent. To be honest some scenes are really hard to watch

The world of kung fu is explored in depth and the characters are endearing. Finally, the film's moral messages are so poignant that they have now become cult classics. I love Kung fu panda and I often rewatch it over the years, I never became tired of it.
