Said is an old friend of mine. He lives in Mexico City but is originally from Guerrero. He is one of those warriors who has experienced several difficult personal moments. I wanted to create portraits that capture her strength despite the ups and downs.

The entire series is based on the idea of isolation, which has been exacerbated by digitalisation and hyperconnectivity. It depicts our representation from the perspective of another dimension, where we are avatars in a more advanced simulation.
