Honestly have no idea how this works.
Definitely an overkill of swearing at times but it has a great cast of characters brought to life by a superb voice cast which includes Stephanie Beatriz, Jeremy Jordan and Keith David to name a few. The 2nd season JUST finished being released on Prime. Check it out, you will get hooked! (2/2)

HAROLD AND MAUDE - Now this I bloody loved! So darkly funny and full of mischief. It's very 70s, the relationship between the two leads, whilst not to everyone's taste, is very sweet and the actors give such stand-out performances. A very different kind of rom-com!

MY OWN PRIVATE IDAHO - I was a bit disappointed by this - it had been hyped as a cult classic you HAD to see. It's perfectly fine - Keanu Reeves is very good in it especially - but it didn't really stir much in me if I'm honest. Maybe I'm just a cold bastard.

BRASSED OFF - Terrific little indie comedy with a great cast of British names but I was honestly not expecting it to be so moving. It's far less light-hearted than the poster makes it seem. It's a bittersweet look at 1990s Northern working class life with some beautiful horn concertos.

FAST & FURIOUS PRESENTS: HOBBS & SHAW - This film is utterly UTTERLY ludicrous and stupid, with about 85% of it just being Dwayne Johnson & Jason Statham bickering and mocking each other's dick size, and none of the plot makes any sense. That said, it's also HIGHLY entertaining!

Yup! And/or their own paid-for podcast deal with the most expensive professional studio and kit plus full filming equipment and camera operator with instant monetisation. The concept of the podcast will be irrelevant.

*Bonus* JOHN CARPENTER'S GHOSTS OF MARS - Yeah, I'm going to be frank here. This is pretty bad. Some of the effects are appalling - as is most of the dialogue - and the scene transitions are only a step up from Powerpoint. Surely this is Carpenter's nadir.

INSIDIOUS - Now this was bloody creepy! I particularly like that it wasn't just another exorcism story, which I figured it would be, and instead went a different way by choosing the ghost hunting element. Loved all the stuff with The Further, it is deeply unsettling.

PRINCE OF EGYPT - I'm not religious in any way but this was great. The songs are good albeit not hugely memorable. I recognised Ralph Fiennes but didn't clock how starry the rest of the cast was - Val Kilmer, Michelle Pfiefer, Sandra Bullock, Jeff Goldblum, even Steve Martin and Martin Short! (ITVX)

BRIDGE OF SPIES - This was certainly gripping. Stephen Spielberg delivers a cold war espionage thriller with a strong, engaging narrative. I found it suspenseful, especially at the end on the bridge. Brilliant performances from Tom Hanks and Mark Rylance.
